What you get, what you may do with it, and how to stop — in the order you would actually ask.

Browsing, searching and citing any page here costs nothing and will keep costing nothing. An official fact belongs to nobody. What is invoiced is the compilation work — extracting the register, dating it, reconciling it, and delivering it in a form you can use.

What you may do with a delivered file

• Use it inside your organisation, without limit of seats, time or purpose — including commercially.
• Cross it with your own data, transform it, keep the result.
• ⚠️ Redistributing it as a product — reselling it, publishing it as a dataset, embedding it in a product sold to third parties — is a separate licence, quoted separately. Ask; it is not a refusal.
• Attribution: the underlying register is published by the European Commission under CC BY 4.0, and that attribution travels with the data. It is supplied with every delivery.

Subscriptions

• No minimum term. Monthly runs month to month; annual runs twelve months from the first delivery.
• No notice period. One email to contact@egid-vaud.ch and it stops at the end of the current period. No form, no call, no retention offer.
• What you already received stays yours, under the terms above. Stopping revokes nothing.
• A month not delivered is not invoiced — if the source register changes, becomes unavailable, or its licence changes.
• Prices are those published here on the day of order, and do not change during a period already paid.

What we promise about the data, and what we do not

Every delivery carries the date of its snapshot and the real fill rate of every field. Nothing is guessed to fill a gap: what does not resolve is delivered empty, with its reason.

⚠️ We do not warrant that the register itself is accurate, complete or current. It is filled in by the operators themselves and maintained by the European Commission. If a record is wrong at the source, it is wrong here too, and we will say so rather than paper over it. This data supports a decision; it does not replace checking the official register for anything carrying legal weight.

Refunds: a one-off file is not refundable once delivered — which is why the free sample, the field dictionary and the fill rates are published in full beforehand. Nothing about the quality should be discovered after payment.

Law

Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction: Vaud, Switzerland. If you are a consumer in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of your own country,s mandatory rules.
